Were you detained or deported during the raid at the Hyundai plant in Georgia or do you know someone who was? This post is for you.

Dear Worker:

Greetings from Centro de los Derechos del Migrante, Inc. (CDM), a non-profit organization that works with migrant workers to defend and protect their rights while moving between their home communities in Mexico and their workplaces in the United States.

The CDM team stands in solidarity with communities impacted by the immigration policies implemented in the United States. With the goal of joining forces to respond to the massive raid that occurred at the Hyundai plant in Georgia on September 4, 2025, we have been collaborating with various local organizations through legal clinics in Georgia to evaluate and respond to possible civil rights violations of workers who were detained during the raid.

Our legal team is available to support, evaluate, and possibly litigate civil or labor rights violations that you or other workers have faced. Please be in contact with our team as soon as possible to assess and address your particular situation.

  • From México, call: (+52) 55 9661 6771

  • From the United States, call: (+1) 667 217 5738

  • Send us an email at: [email protected]

For more than 20 years, CDM has helped migrant workers who face abuses and violations of their rights due to lack of information, transparency, and the absence of effective immigration policies. Our objectives include: guaranteeing migrant workers access to justice through know your rights workshops, advice, policy advocacy, and free and confidential legal representation.
