Beware of job offers for an H-1B visa with an engineering and construction company in Birmingham, Alabama, with the following characteristics:

1) The recruiter tells workers that there are jobs with a construction company in Alabama, starting on January 6, 2020.

2) To get the job, the recruiter asks workers to fill out various forms and provide a resume. To apply for the visa, the recruiter recommends an agency based in Houston, Texas that can supposedly get the visas before January 6, 2020. The agency charges $1,050 USD and askes workers to pay the recruitment fee to an individual’s bank account, located in Georgia.

We have been unable to find any record of an official certification for this job offer. Additionally, remember that visa processing fees should always be paid directly to the US Embassy’s bank account, not to an individual’s bank account.
